Clyman, Wisconsin history

After years of research, my Clyman history book is finally done. The book is titled Grounded in the Past and Looking to the Future – The History of the Town and Village of Clyman, Wisconsin. It is a large-format book (8.5 by 11 inches) and is 189 pages long with more than 100 illustrations.

The book is organized into nine chapters. Chapter 1 is a timeline of events dealing with Clyman from 1832 to today. Chapter 2 narrates the story of the history of Clyman. Also included in this chapter is the story of individuals and families that were important members of the community. Chapter 3 chronicles the history of agriculture in Clyman. Chapter 4 records the history of the canning factory. Chapter 5 tells the stories of the retail stores. Chapter 6 discusses municipal services. Chapter 7 relates the stories of the churches, cemeteries, and schools. Chapter 8 deals with recreational activities. And Chapter 9 handles health services and civic activities.

Each book costs $25.00. If you need me to mail the book, postage and handling is another $5. The check should be made out to Edward Langer and sent to the address below.

I hope you will enjoy learning about the history of Clyman as much as I did researching this history.
