German/Czech town and village names
NOTE: The district of Landskron /Lanškroun had both German and Czech inhabitants. Both the Czechs and the Germans had a name in their own language for each village and town. Some names are quite similar: Landskron and Lanškroun. Some are not similar at all: Ober Johnsdorf and Horní Třešnovec. When you research your family history you need to know both names for the towns and villages.
